James F. Nigro, M.D.

drJNigroDr. James Nigro received his Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology at Stanford University in 1984. He completed his M.D. degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1988.

He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco in 1991 and a melanoma fellowship also at UCSF in 1992. Dr. Nigro completed his dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1995 during which time he served as the Chief Resident and the fellow in pediatric dermatology in his final year of residency. Dr. Nigro was board certified in pediatrics in 1991, board certified in dermatology in 1995 and board certified in pediatric dermatology in 2004.

Dr. Nigro was an assistant professor of dermatology and pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital from 1995-2000. During this time he served as the chief of dermatology at Ben Taub General Hospital. In June of 2000, he joined his wife, Dr. Marjory Nigro, in private practice and since that time he has practiced pediatric dermatology exclusively. He remains on the dermatology faculty at the Baylor College of Medicine on a volunteer basis.

Marjory G. Nigro, M.D.

drMNigroMarjory G. Nigro, M.D. is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she finished medical school and a dermatology residency, becoming board certified in 1992. She was in private practice and academics for two years and then moved to the United States. She completed a full dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and became board-certified in the U.S. in 1999. Dr. Nigro served as Chief Resident during her last year of residency.

She volunteers at Ben Taub Hospital Dermatology Clinic teaching Baylor residents and medical students. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Houston Dermatologic Society, and she serves as the Chairman of the Dermatology Department at Southwest Memorial Hospital. Her practice is devoted to medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Dr. Marjory Nigro has been among the Top Doctors in Houston for the past two years. Dr. Nigro speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Jeanne H. Spedale, M.D.

drSpedaleDr. Jeanne H. Spedale's practice focuses on proper skin care and skin cancer prevention. She practices a combination of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her cosmetic practice specializes in Botox®, Dysport® and a variety of dermal fillers such as: Restylane®, Juvéderm®, Radiesse®, Belotero®, Voluma®, Kybella®, Volbella® and Sculptra®.

She completed her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1998. During her final year, she served as Chief Resident. She is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the Houston Dermatologic Society, the Harris County Medical Society and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Jeanne "J.J." Spedale is a native of Louisiana who now calls Texas home. She graduated in 1994 from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and served as president of her senior class. She completed a medical internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Her volunteer activities include teaching 7th grade Continuing Catholic Education at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She's an active school volunteer at St. John's School and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Dr. Spedale is also on the Board of Directors of the Houston Area Women's Center. During her free time, she likes to cook, read and run half marathons. Her son and twin daughters keep her very busy!

Alexandra "Lexi" Ornell, MS, PA-C

Lexi Ornell, MS, PA-C has always known dermatology was the area of medicine she wanted to practice. She recognizes the impact a person's skin can have on their quality of life, and she strives to make each and every patient feel as comfortable and beautiful as possible in their own skin.

Lexi holds the status of Diplomate Fellow from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. This status indicates Lexi has achieved the highest honor possible as a Dermatology PA, reflecting her ability to provide exceptional patient care as well as her dedication to the field of dermatology.

Lexi grew up in Coppell, Texas, a suburb just north of Dallas. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Kinesiology. Lexi then went on to attend Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia, where she earned her Masters of Science as a Physician Assistant.

Lexi is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. She is a Diplomate Fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Lexi enjoys exploring Houston with her goofy yellow lab, Petey.
