Edward J. Hurwitz, M.D., a native Texan, attended the University of Texas in Austin and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University in Beaumont. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed post graduate studies in Internal Medicine and Surgery at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., followed by his Dermatology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Hurwitz is board certified in Dermatology and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. His areas of interest include both medical and surgical Dermatology.
